EXHORTATION through the BOOK OF LIFE

“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.”

The fundamental difference between a convert and a disciple
The convert has often taken an initial step of adhering to a doctrine, a church, or a tradition, but their daily life, their reactions to stress, and their priorities remain governed by worldly standards. The disciple accepts to bear their cross, to go through a process of breaking, and to abandon their own ambitions in order to embrace the lifestyle, values, and character of Christ.
The Pillars of Discipleship
Obedience to the teachings: Not just listening to the Word, but diligently observing everything the Lord has prescribed, down to the details of daily life.
Total consecration: Offering one's spirit (renewed mind), soul (emotions and will), and body (actions and habits) as a living sacrifice.
Constant communion: Cultivating an intimate, daily, and living relationship with the Holy Spirit, who alone is capable of producing divine fruit within us (love, peace, joy, self-control) and calming every source of stress or anxiety.
The impact of true discipleship: When one strives to be a fully realized disciple (according to Luke 6:40), the pursuit of religious achievement ceases. The burden of guilt and the stress of repeated failures give way to the transforming power of the Holy Spirit. One no longer lives by one's own strength, but by the life of Christ manifested through oneself.
This exhortation invites you to a sincere examination of conscience: is your faith limited to a religious organization, or is it a daily and concrete walk alongside the Savior?
