Walking according to the Spirit of God

Lot raised his eyes and saw that the whole plain of the Jordan was well watered, like the garden of the Lord, like the land of Egypt, toward Zoar.
EXHORTATION from THE BOOK OF LIFE
Verses to meditate on:
“And Lot lifted up his eyes and saw all the plain of the Jordan, that it was well watered everywhere, before the Lord destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah, like the garden of the Lord, like the land of Egypt, as you go to Zoar.”
Genesis 13:10 JND https://bible.com/bible/64/gen.13.10.JND

            THE GREAT SACRIFICE

Beloved, it is written: “But I say: Walk by the Spirit, and you will not fulfill the lust of the flesh.” Galatians 5:16 JND
The danger in the life of a Christian is, unfortunately, living according to human wisdom, “For those who are according to [the] flesh mind the things of the flesh; but those who are according to [the] Spirit, the things of the Spirit; for the mind of the flesh is death; but the mind of the Spirit, life and peace;” Romans 8:5-6 JND
Abraham lived with his nephew Lot, who lived according to human wisdom, and we know his end.

The verse of the day is taken from the separation of Abram and Lot. In the same chapter it is written "And the Lord said to Abram, after Lot had separated from him: Lift up your eyes, and look, from the place where you are, towards the north, and towards the south, and towards the east, and towards the west; for all the land that you see, I will give to you, and to your seed, forever;" Genesis 13:14-15 JND
And God changed his name and established His covenant with him.

The life of Abraham is that of the Christian today with the advantage that the Holy Spirit remains in you, to lead you in your heritage, in His word daily to implant the kingdom of Christ. "And working together with Him, we also urge you not to receive the grace of God in vain;" 2 Corinthians 6:1 JND "I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, he bears much fruit; for apart from Me you can do nothing."
John 15:5 JND

Let's pray:

Father, in the name of Jesus, teach me daily communion with the Holy Spirit. Nourish my spirit with Your word, make Your word more real to me than fear, pressure, and external trials.
Train me to recognize the One who is greater who dwells in me more than the noise of the world,
strengthen me as I pray in tongues. Teach me to worship in spirit and in truth, not only when life is easy, but also when pressure is real. I thank You because I do not practice these things to gain Your love. I practice them because I am loved, redeemed, and called to live by the inner man in the name of Jesus. Amen!

The beloved of the Lord Jesus Christ.
