The concept of the new creation is not about preserving old habits but about triumphing over them by recognizing the gracious character you have received each time you realize that the old person you were wants to come out of the grave….
Beloved, when you have the revelation of the One you represent, you are freed from all condemnation and guilt.
Today's verses speak to us of our faith in the eternal intercession of our great High Priest, who became the eternal sacrifice for our sins before God, and His blood which eternally purifies our consciences: “How much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself unblemished to God, purify our consciences from acts that lead to death, to serve the living God!” Hebrews 9:14. You must activate the peace and all the blessings that belong to you (Ephesians 1:3).
Here is your declaration:
When the enemy brings up your past, you respond: I am a new creation, and the blood of Jesus washes away all my sin. Because I am in Christ, there is no condemnation against me (2 Corinthians 5:17, 21), and I am the righteousness of God in Jesus Christ.
You must expand this declaration to access all the blessings that God's grace has provided for you.
